Our New Puppy!

I know...can you believe it? We finally bit the bullet and got a puppy. We have always wanted to have a dog but our lives seem so busy that there never seemed to be the right time. Plus neither Mike or I am big fans of having both our house and our yard ruined but all the fun things that come along with having a dog.

Last week Ady got a new yellow lab puppy. Mike was talking to him at work and he was saying how cute she was and how much fun she was. Ady mentioned that the owner had one black puppy left and that they were willing to give her to us for a discount. As I was driving home from work that Friday afternoon, I started to think about it more and more and when I finally got home Mike and I discussed it and decided that we would go "take a look" at it. Well you know how that goes, to make a long story short, we brought her home that night and our house has not been the same every since.

She is adorable and is really a lot of fun to have around. We are bound and determined to train her to be obedient and well behaved. So far she seems really smart and is catching on. She loves to chew on everything of course and some of our shoes have puppy bit marks in them but for the most part she is a very good dog. I am sure we will have more puppy horror stories to tell in the future but for now, so far so good!
