WARNING! If you are an Elmo fan you might want to stop reading now. Our dog Bella loves and lives to chew things up. We are constantly on the look out for a new toy that she will not be able to destroy or that will entertain her long enough to allow us to get some peace and quiet. So far, we have not found one. As a matter of fact our new game is to guess how long it will take for her to destroy something. This was getting expensive. Dog toys usually run anywhere from $5 - $10 a piece and usually it only takes a squeek or two for Bella to become bound and determined to get to that squeeker out along with every piece of stuffing. She is ALWAYS succesful. A couple of weeks ago we decided that rather than going to pet store to get these toys we would just stop at D.I. We had fun finding stuffed animals that would entertain her the most. We ended up coming home with 5 toys for a total of $5. What a bargain! Her favorite toy was great big Elmo. Despite a lot of "tickling" from Bella, Elmo is not laughing so much anymore. A matter of fact, the only thing left are scraps. She pulled the last leg off yesterday! Poor Elmo.
